OK, somehow I deluded myself into thinking I would enjoy a nice SPRINT
TRIATHLON! I was inspired by a good friend, Jason Brown, who just completed an Olympic Triathlon in
fine form (for those of you that aren't familiar with an Olympic Tri- it is a 1 mile swim, 28 mile bike and 6 mile run).
Needless to say, I will NOT be participating in this thinly veiled masochistic event.

I digress... I and several of my friends, including my saint of a wife
Maria (I introduced her on my "The Story of Bowwowzer" page), Jason Brown and his lovely wife Haley, and Lisa Reynolds
(she'll be the one swimming with the floaties) have decided to take part in this race. And we thought, what a great
opportunity to do some fundraising for a local, deserving charity. Since we are dog lovers (cats are ok too), we
decided on an organization that targets a huge problem in this country, pet over population
and neglect. Consequently, we are reaching out to our fellow Chattanoogan's to help support us as
we fund raise for Wally's Friends™. We have provided below information about Wally's
Friends™, including a link to their site to donate. Please note, because
Wally's Friends™ is a 501(c)(3) corporation, all donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE!

Wally's Friends™ is a first of it's kind in the
Chattanooga area - a stand alone clinic devoted solely to high quality, high volume, low cost spay/neuter for dogs
and cats! Safe sterilization is critical in combating pet overpopulation and neglect. Wally's
